The day Binky got really exhausted

A few days ago we decided we would start a rock band so we had to practice.

Here's what happens if your duet partner wouldn't perform

After watching Bologer demonstrated the drums, and erns the guitar...

A truly 3D experience...

It's good to have friends in the IT industry.
My recently purchased external hard-drive has been teeming with 'activity' comprising with new and old flicks that still stimulate my viewing interest to this day. Yes, I'm a pirate (arr) and, no, I'm not a regular TV guy. I only digress because I've not found value paying to watch movies lately.
Last night and for the first time in a long time I went to watch a movie called Beowulf in the Imax Theatre in the CBD. As usual, the experience of parking and lining up was less-than-ideal. I guess it didn't help that my brother dragged his feet so we were skimped for time. Not even enough time for a 'ccino!.
We paid extra to watch the 3D version and, to be honest, I didn't know what to expect. The dorky glasses, crappy previews and tight seating only enhanced my anxiety that I may get beaten up by my brother after the movie that he paid for ($20 per ticket).
Once the movie started it was all different. The title screen words stuck out and a few of the movie-goers actually stuck their hands out trying to grasp it. It took me a few moments to adjust to the 3D enhancement and everyone took their glasses on and off to see the difference. And what a difference it was.
Overall, the movie was nothing but eye candy and once a while the movie would focus on a 3D moment (that's what I'll call it, trademark). 3D moments were 5-6 second moments of the film which seemed solely made for the 3D experience. Being a last minute booking, our seats were on the right hand side of the 8 story (?) movie screen. Disadvantage? Not at all. At one 3D moment, I looked to my left and I could literally see a soldier's spear sticking out of the Imax screen which I thought to be awesome.
I cannot say how other 3D films will rate but I truly recommend that folks go to see this one as the movie was seamlessly done. From start to finish, all the viewers were captured by the experience.
Saved me from getting beaten up. *whew*
