Polls

Thursday today..somehow I feel a bit more energetic that the past 3 days.

I've been administering the company Intranet for a while now. and I've recently started carrying out polls and making improvements to its functionality. It's quite fun actually. You see people voting and notice how divided the people are int he office.

I'm thinking of posting a poll with the question: "Are you happy working here?"

You think I can get fired by posting that?

teeheee that would certainly get you a good solid polarisation in terms of opinion! :-) our yearly gallup survey has questions "are you actively engaged in the company", "do you have a best friend at work" and "do you feel that what you do helps the company"... all touchie-feelie stuff that gets analysed by the Gallup organisation, and then the next quarter your direct management works with you and your team on the points that are considered to have scored low on...

After 4 years working in a market research company, I never really understood what "gallup" means.

So today after reading your comment I've decided to look it up.

Gallup (Noun): A town in northwestern New Mexico near the Arizona border.

Yey!

Gallup is an international market research authority as well.
